Make Play a Priority in 2012

There are so many reasons why you should make play should be a priority for your baby genius in 2012—whether your child prefers singing along with musical baby books or a day in the sandbox, play helps them develop in the best way possible. This fact is so well-established that the United Nations recognized play as a right of every child due to its contribution to optimal child development—looks like it’s time to stock up on musical baby toys.

Whenever we create a baby CD or educational baby DVDs, we try to incorporate the type of music that encourages movement, and thus, the development of coordination and motor skills. Yet our musical baby toys do much more than that—they assist with the development of communication skills, which contributes to children’s socialization and how they make sense of life. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, play is critical to healthy child development, as it enhances their physical, social, cognitive and emotional well-being—this is why we our baby CD products stimulate every aspect of their learning. A baby genius requires toys that stimulate them on so many levels!

Studies show that major developmental differences exist in brain scans done between children who have the chance to play and those who don’t. Therefore, it’s crucial that children have a chance to play every day. Even when a child is ill, they can still benefit from the stimulation provided by singing children's songs along with or just reading musical baby books. If they’re unable to go outside, you can pop one of our fun and creative educational baby DVDs in the DVD player.

Make a commitment to provide avenues for play every day in 2012! It’s fundamental and a great way to show your children that you love them.
